Synopsis
“Hand Angels” was founded four years ago. Their arrival was a wake-up call making people start paying attention to the sexual needs of disabled people. More importantly, these “angels” have been long-awaited within the disable community hoping for a deeper understanding of this issue. However, up until this point, the actions of this volunteer group have been frowned upon due to misconceptions, lack of empathy, and the political struggles between conservatives and liberals; They all want to figure out if there really is a need for the sex services provided by “Hand Angels.” In this episode, our hosts interview members of this organization to understand their reasons and their goals. They also meet with one person who has experienced their services. The gratitude in his words hints his frustration regarding this basic but neglected need. “Hand Angels” are true pioneers in a very controversial area.
