Five Films For Freedom 2026

From March 18th to 29th, free to watch around the world! This year, the British Council and BFI Flare: London LGBTIQ+ Film Festival present five emotional short films that celebrate love and freedom. Hear the first beats of love when one girl falls for another, witness the tender embrace of partners undergoing hardships, experience souls reuniting beyond physical boundaries, and feel the unspoken secrets behind the droplets of sweat. Together, we can face the world and fight for our right to pursue love. Freedom isn't just a right; more than anything it's the courage to take action. And love, love is always the truest answer.
