Synopsis
To film his training sessions in figure skating, Etienne's grandmother gives him a video camera. Teen-aged Etienne starts recording his everyday life with his friends and mother in Rouen, without being voyeuristic, more as a game and a way of collecting souvenirs. His interest in one teachers, so he believes, is because he thinks he would be a perfect partner for his mother. The relationship that develops between them proves he was right, but also makes him realize that his own desire was more ambiguous than he thoughts.
