Synopsis
Unwilling to face his father's death, Lin Qingyu leaves his homeland Lijiang, alone. He accidentally looses his wallet and by chance meets Aren, who is of Nakhi ethnicity. Lin becomes a local teaching assistant in his village and develops feelings for Aren. One day, the two are caught exchanging tokens of affection by the Nakhi people. In a remote mountain village where their love is unacceptable, what is Aren to do?
