Synopsis
For years, Aaliyah, a conservative muslim grappled with her sexual identity, had been dealing with feelings of shame, confusion and isolation. She had almost succumbed to the notion that there was something seriously 'wrong' with her. Until she met Samantha, an expat travelling through India. Sam opened up a whole new world to her. A world where she could be free and comfortable in her own skin and finally fall in love. Things between them couldn't have been more perfect. But one day, Aaliyah's grandmother announces that her father has found a wonderful suitor for her.
