Synopsis

The moving story of a forbidden relationship between two young men, living under the military regime in Myanmar. Homosexuality isn't accepted there and many gay men suffer stigmatisation and discrimination. In this particular village community on the Irrawaddy River, however, there is an exceptional, small circle that does welcome homosexuals. During the meetings young people can tell their heartrending stories of exclusion by family and find support within the group. With the help of those people marriage between young lovers has a chance to become a reality...
