Synopsis
My French Films Festival selection available until February 13, VIP members only.
After stealing the urn containing the ashes of her deceased lover, Paloma, a colorful drag queen, meets Mike, a silent and melancholic trucker. They will share a road trip by truck to Paris. A day and a night together to overcome their loneliness.
Hugo Bardin, who also plays the role of Paloma, brings us a funny yet sensitive road trip story through the French countryside. With remarkable performances by its cast, Paloma is one of a new generation of LGBTQ representation in film, in which the issue of rejection can finally be put aside to make way for other stories. A beautiful, touching story of grief and recovery.
